Join the global movement for sustainable science.

Together, My Green Lab and the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories issue a challenge to science funders around the world to encourage sustainability in research.

We invite scientists and sustainability advocates around the world to unite in pushing for change by joining the Million Advocates for Sustainable Science letter campaign.

The purpose of this campaign is to demonstrate support for systemic change within the global science funding system. Scientists and other stakeholders want to take action to improve and implement sustainability, resource efficiency, and resiliency within research laboratories.

Current funding structures generally do not encourage grantees or institutions to be environmentally sustainable. Signatories to this letter want to see the scientific field lead the world to a better climate future and are requesting action by research funders to set expectations for efficiency, resiliency, and sustainability in the way scientific research is conducted.
